Yemen Historic Sites
Yemen is home to a number of landmarks with valuable cultural and historical importance. Several of these have been recognized by UNESCO as World Heritage Sites because of their uniqueness and importance to the collective interests of humanity. The following are listed: Historic Town of Zabid, Old City of Sana’a, Old Walled City of Shibam and the Island of Socotra.
